The second package targets the airport, northern suburbs, and Bharat Future City:
- Shamshabad Airport → Bharat Future City – 39.6 km (mix of elevated, underground & at-grade)
- JBS → Medchal – 24.5 km (18 stations)
- JBS → Shamirpet – 22 km (14 stations)
Funding & Approvals
- Phase-2(A) – ₹24,269 crore
- Phase-2(B) – ₹19,579 crore
Funding will follow a joint model:
- State Government – 30%
- Central Government – 18%
- International Loans – 48%
- PPP Model – 4%
The Telangana government has already submitted Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to the Centre, with appeals for faster Union Cabinet approvals.
